NYAC Launches Search For New Board Members
The National Youth Advocacy Coalition (NYAC) has launched a search for new board members! Help spread the word by sharing this with those who may be interested in joining.
We invite anyone who is interested to apply, but specifically encourage Transgender people, women, people of color, and youth to apply.
NYAC is a national social justice organization working with lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning (LGBTQ) young people to strengthen the role they play in the overall LGBTQ rights movement. The current board is comprised of 8 members through out the country. For more information about NYAC, please visit nyacyouth.org.
We hope to to add to the diversity and size of the NYAC Board by adding 4-6 new members. The search will take place from now until May 31st.
Here is a Statement of Board Member Responsibilities (PDF) that more clearly explains the role of board membership: http://bit.ly/9BGtp1
